Beef, Beer and Chorizo Chili

From the Spanish chorizo to the IPA beer this chili will knock your socks off.

You can freeze this and just thaw when you feel like having some.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS

Ingredients 

– Ground beef – Spanish chorizo – Yellow onion – Garlic – Unsalted black beans – Fire-roasted diced tomatoes

STEP 1

In a Dutch oven, add the ground beef, chorizo onion, serrano pepper, garlic and a pinch of salt. Cook until beef and chorizo has browned.

STEP 2

Once excess fat has been drained, add the remaining ingredients including the pureed tomatoes and stir to combine.

STEP 3

Cover and bring to a boil over medium heat. This takes about 20 minutes.

STEP 4

Once boiling, drop heat to low and cook for an hour. Taste, and season if need be.

Variation

No Beans: if you don't care for beans in your chili, you can just omit that ingredient altogether.
