Lemon Lime Cake

This lemon lime layer cake recipe was my fortieth birthday cake and it was a hit.

It's covered in a delicious lemon lime cream cheese frosting and it's perfect for any occasion.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS

Ingredients:

– Fresh lemon Juice – Lime juice – Whole milk – All purpose Flour – Vegetable oil

STEP 1

Grease three 8 inch round cake pans, then line with parchment paper rounds.

STEP 2

Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a medium bowl Set aside.

STEP 3

Beat the butter and sugar together on high speed until smooth and creamy.

STEP 4

Scrape down the sides and up the bottom of the bowl. Beat in the eggs one at a time and vanilla extract on medium speed until combined.

STEP 5

With the mixer on low speed, add the flour mixture just until combined.
