Spanish Hot Chocolate

Many years ago I fell in love with Spanish hot chocolate from San Gines in Madrid, Spain. I have been wanting to recreate it for years and I finally did it.

This is a rich drinking chocolate that is perfect for a chilly day. It pairs perfectly with warm churros, croissant or pan dulce.

Place your hot chocolate in an airtight container and place a piece of plastic wrap on the top of the hot chocolate to avoid a thick film developing on the chocolate.
