- 2 oz Cuban white rum
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 1 oz lime juice freshly squeezed
In a cocktail shaker add ice, simply syrup, lime juice and rum. Cover and shake.
Strain the ice and pour cocktail into glass. Garnish with a lime wedge if desired.
- Want a frozen strawberry daiquiri? Place the ingredients along with ¼ cup of frozen strawberries in a blender and pulse until well combined.
- Don't have fresh lime juice? You can use bottled instead.
- Don't own coupe glasses? Pour your classic drink into a martini glass or your favorite cocktail glass.
- Don't have Cuban rum? Bacardi Rum is a good alternative. Dark rum can also be used in a pinch.
- Some people like their daiquiris with some Maraschino, if you're one of these people add a quarter-ounce of maraschino liqueur.
- Don't have white granulated sugar for the simple syrup? Use brown sugar instead.
