Beer, Chorizo and Beef Chili

This chili recipe is packed with tons of rich flavor! From the Spanish chorizo to the IPA beer this chili will knock your socks off.

It's hearty and filling! Plus, you can freeze this and just thaw when you feel like having some.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS

Ingredients 

– Ground beef – Spanish chorizo – Yellow onion – Garlic – Unsalted black beans – Fire-roasted diced tomatoes

STEP 1

In a Dutch oven over high heat, add the ground beef, chorizo onion, serrano pepper, garlic and a pinch of salt. Cook until beef and chorizo has browned.

STEP 2

Once excess fat has been drained, add the remaining ingredients including the pureed tomatoes and stir to combine.

STEP 3

Cover and bring to a boil over medium heat. This takes about 20 minutes.

STEP 4

Once boiling, drop heat to low and cook for an hour. Taste, and season with additional salt and pepper if need be.

Variation

If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can add a half cup of beef broth or more beer.
