This Valentine's Day margarita is a deliciously festive cocktail that is great for any valentine celebration. I've never met a margarita I didn't love and I wanted to make a pink drink that was perfect for a romantic evening or galentine's party.

Ingredients needed for this valentine's day cocktail recipe
- Freeze dried strawberries
- Fresh lime juice
- Coconut milk
- Strawberry preserves or strawberry jam
- Chambord or triple sec
- Tequila

Instructions for this valentine’s day margarita recipe
Place the freeze dried strawberries in a food processor and pulse until a powder forms. Pour the strawberry powder onto a shallow plate
Rim a margarita glass by running a lime wedge around the edge then dipping it in the shallow plate with strawberry powder. Set the cups aside while you prepare your drink.

To a cocktail shaker, add the strawberry jam and tequila. Use a muddler to mash the strawberries preserves in the shaker until they are mashed.
Add to the shaker, coconut milk, chambord, lime juice and ice. Cover it and shake or stir well.

Add ice to your prepared margarita glass. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass and garnish with a whole strawberry, be sure to not mess up the rim of the glass.
