Pour your frozen mango margarita into the prepared glass and garnish with a mile wedge.
Substitutions
- If you don't have Cointreau available, you can use Triple Sec
- If you're not a fan of simple syrup, opt for Agave instead.
- Don't have any fresh limes handy? You can use for bottled lime juice instead.
- Don't like tajin on your glass rim? Go the traditional route and use salt instead.
Variations
- Spicy mango margarita: If you like your mango margarita extra spicy and a splash of your favorite hot sauce into the blender.
- Pineapple or Strawberry Chamoy margarita: Replace the frozen mango with your choice of frozen fruit for a different kind of margarita
Equipment
For this you'll need a blender and margarita glasses
Top tip
Fresh mango vs. store bought nectar: If you're able to get fresh mangoes, you can peel and chop them then place them in the freezer over night. If you don't have access to fresh mangoes, frozen mangoes from your freezer section will do!
Tajin vs salt: Classic margaritas use salt on the rim, but with Chamoy mangonadas Tajin is a must! If you don't like tajin, you can opt for a salt rim.
Chill the glasses. This drink tastes best when it is extra cold. If you have the time, chill the margarita glasses in the fridge.
