Spice up Fall celebrations with this delicious Autumn sangria made with your favorite white wine, spices, apple cider, fresh fruits and a touch of cinnamon whiskey.
I love a good sangria and this one is perfect for Fall. Whether its for a Friendsgiving or for a Sunday Football watch party, this is a great and easy make-ahead drink!

Ingredients needed
- White wine of choice, I used a Sauvignon Blanc
- Apple Cider
- Fresh Honeycrisp apples
- Cranberries
- Bartlett Pears
- Tangerine segments
- Whole Cloves
- Anise Stars
- Cinnamon sticks
- Club soda (optional)
- Fresh Thyme (garnish)
Instructions to make this Fall white sangria
- Place the cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise into a large pitcher.
- Add the apples, pear, tangerine and cranberries into the pitcher over the spices.
- Add wine, apple cider and cinnamon whiskey to the pitcher. Allow to sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, but ideally over night.
- When serving, pour the sangria and fruit into glasses. If desired, add a splash of club soda.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a sprig of thyme
Variations and Substitutions
Don't have apple cider? Opt for apple juice or hard apple cider for an extra kick.
Don't like cinnamon whisky? Opt for regular whiskey or bourbon.
Want your fall apple sangria to be a little sweeter? Stir in some agave or maple syrup.
Although this sangria is vegetarian, you can make it vegan friendly by using a vegan wine.
Don't have honeycrisp apples? Use whatever apples you like!
You can add whatever Fall fruits you prefer like plums or pomegranate.
Don't have club soda? You can simply omit it, opt for seltzer water or even your favorite lemon lime soda.
Storage
This autumn harvest sangria will keep in the refrigerator for upto 3 days in an airtight container.
